After a rigorously rewarding undergraduate career at Newman, I knew it was the place for my graduate education. My journey as a graduate student in the MSBMS program at Newman University has been incredibly rewarding. Immersed in advanced biological sciences, I’ve gained both in-dept theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Courses like Neuroscience and Medical Pharmacology, which have never before been offered at Newman, have broadened by understanding of complex scientific concepts, while the program’s strong research component has honed my analytical and problem-solving abilities— skills that are essential for a future physician. Despite being an online program, there are plenty of opportunities to connect with professors— whether through on-campus research opportunities or personal meetings. The faculty is always there to support students, challenging and preparing them for future careers. The support and opportunities provided at Newman University have been instrumental in bringing my closer to my goal of becoming a physician.
